Reliance Communications Limited has announced the roll out of its CDMA wireless broadband service,Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus. Reliance Netconnect Broadband Plus has a downlink speed of upto 3.1 Mbps and a separate uplink speed of upto 1.8 Mbps,offering 30% higher downlink rate in comparison to any wireless broadband offering.
Reliance Netconnect Plus broadband will be available in 35 cities wuth seamless handover time high speed rail system covers 20,000 towns and 4.5 lakh villages and all major roads and railways across the country where 99% of India's Internet population. The company will retail Netconnect Plus Broadband 12000 IT outlets across India and 2300 exclusive Reliance Communication and nearly 240 stores Reliance World outlets. Reliance Communications President Mahesh Prasad said that the launch of Netconnect Plus Broadband is an important milestone in Reliance and will act as a catalyst in the efforts of the government to increase broadband penetration in India.

Reliance Netconnect Plus broadband will be available in shops from March 17, 2009. The product is launched in two Plug and Play USB device variants. Netconnect Plus broadband in two key segments.
